Even more exciting, HITA winners are automatically shortlisted for the national finals at the Scottish Thistle Awards, gaining the opportunity for nationwide acclaim.

Entering is simple.

Know Someone Who Deserves Recognition?

Do you know a business, individual or event operating in the Highlands and Islands that deserves recognition, or perhaps a little encouragement to enter?

Nominations are free, quick and anonymous. You nominate, and we take care of the rest.

Key Dates

Nominations close on the 30th March. Entries close on the 27th April. The shortlist for each category will be announced in July, with the winners announced at a gala dinner, at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness on Friday 9th October 2026.
